Dead pedal attachment.

Anyone here know exactly how many and what kind of clips are used to attach the dead pedal to the floor? Pics would be VERY appreciated if you've got 'em.

I was lifting up on the thing today, trying to gain a little room to pull out some plastic that was left there when the car was assembled. I pulled up a little too hard, and the bottom section of it came loose, and now doesn't want to reattach.

Thanks,
Jim

IIRC, there's just 2 male/female clips to the dead pedal. I think the dead pedal has the male and the floor has the female. To yank it out, just pull on it. To reattach, you just have to make sure the male clips go into the female clips.

Getting them lined up seems to be the real trick. I have heard they are quite fragile, and prone to breaking, so if I ever have to pull it off completely I'll be real careful.

Yeah, when you pull them out you kinda have to pull both out simultaneously.
