Question Matrix/Vibe roof rack info

I'm wondering if I can use the standard Vibe roofrack on my Matrix. I'm not crazy about the look of the aftermarket products from Thule, etc. I do like how the Vibe rack kinda follows the roof line and fills in nicely, even though it's a bit short.

If it is interchangeable, does anyone know where to get one besides direct from Pontiac?

And last, if anyone has any other roof rack suggestions, I'm all ears.

Thanks.

No, the Vibe rack will not fit on the Matrix.

What about hitch mounted racks?

I don't have a hitch, plus it would be for skis and canoes.

BTW, can a hitch be easily installed on the XRS without disturbing the rear trim?
