Idle speed fro 03 XRS

Does anyone know the idle speed for a 03 MAtrix XRS, mine is at slighty higher than 900. I for some reason thinks its running higher than it was a few weeks ago. The only upgrade is a K&N drop filter, the box drop in kind.
thanks ,M

Dunno. Sounds normal to me. My 05 XRS has always idled at 1000 - 1200 rpm (operational temperature) or 2000 rpm (Cold).

p.s. My Previous 1ZZ Corolla S used to idle at 700 rpm or so.

He has an 03 Matrix XRS. You do realize that Matrix XRS was debuted back in 2003. Right?

yeh ive got a 03 xrs too, I have problems with my idle speed control valve causing my idle to not be high enough and sometimes it causes my car to die. Piece of shit almost put me into a wall today at 40 mph because it died right before I hit a 90 degree turn and I lost my power steering. I was able to restart just in time, just ordered a new one for $150
