Talking Somebody Turn Off The Beeper!

Hi All

This is my first post on TN. I own a 06 Matrix AWD. I really have enjoyed the car for the past year and the lack of power is not much of an issue. But what really is just bugging me to no end is the set belt warning beeper. Is there a way of programming it so it doesn’t go off every time you jump in the car? I am a big boy and I don’t need a major alarm going off every time I go around the corner for a jug aof milk. Don’t get wrong, I live by the seatbelt but the beeper is just a little too much. LOL!

I guess the only other thing I was wondering if their is a better price for the wagon rubber mats other than the dealership?

BTW: I am also the proud owner of a new Camery V6 XLE.

Thanks
SammyT

If you can't find anything in that thread.....just buckle up for safety. In Tennessee they say, "click it or ticket".

Welcome, I too own an 05 AWD XR. The first thing I did two days after I got it was turn off that beep, that link is perfect!

I also replaced my headlights and fogs with Sylvania Silverstars and put those Lexus LEDs in my license plate lights, looks great.

Also I did do the mod for the DRLs and fogs. Now i can turn them on when I want to, turn my parks on only, parks and fogs or the whole shibang. Love it now.

whelan which mod did you perform do turn of the DRL, i would love to know, i replace my stock lights with an hid converstion kit, but when the DRL's are on onlu 80 percent of the power is being transferred to the ballast so my lights flash like police lights. Its a nice effect but it gets annoying having to turn on my lights to drive my car without attracting attention. I owe a 2006 matrix XR

Try this link - http://matrixowners.com/forums/How-t...es-t29644.html It will require patience & some contortions, but well worth it. Die DRL Die!
