K&N Air Filter to replace OEM filter

I would like to know if anyone has tried the K&N Air Filter on there matrix yet. I would but a K&N CAI but i want to wait a lil bit before i have other mods, i would like to do, but i would like to replace the OEM filter. I guess the question i am asking is has anyone tried this filter and if so have you notice any change?

I installed the k&n filter and actually felt noticeable improvement in acceleration. Following a post at this forum, I disconnected the battery for 30 minutes after the installation. Hope this helps.

i love the k&n air filter. i got it a few wks ago and ive noticed improvment in acceleration and im getting better mpg (even tho i was getting good mpg b4)
