2006 XR Matrix with 150,000km
Just passed the 150,000 km mark on my 06 matrix. I have had it exactly one year. No repairs yet. I managed to get 145,000 out of the orig. tires. Still runs like a top. Front brakes still at 70%. Am thinking about replacing the plugs. Just thought I would let you other Matrix owners know that these units will look after you if you look after them.

Wow, that's an average of 410 km per day! How do you do that? I presume it's mostly highway miles?

Nicely done! I have a friend that put on 100,000 a year, but you've whupped his ass. I'm assuming someone else is footing the bill for your fuel?
I've had my 06 XR for around 5 months now, and I think I've got about 5800 on the clock. I got some catching up to do.

I drive between Salmon Arm, Revelstoke and Vernon (B.C.) every day. Checked my fuel economy today. 43 mpg. That's not bad considering factory air filter, orig. plugs and winter conditions.

...if your company car allowance to you is 43 cents per km, then you would have received $64 500.

Assuming you are putting 150 000km/year, how long to you plan to keep the car.
...or for that matter, what was the mileage of your last car ?
