Thanks!!
Needed something for the baby on the way.

I was wondering if you or someone else might know what the warranty issues migh be on lowering a vehical.
I am looking to go 1 to 2 in drop. (more towards the 2)
It's a base model so not many clearence issues.

Also, on my AE92 once you go w/ a 2in drop ther are some probblems with susp. travel (less than 2in of stroke ).

Are there the same probblems w/ the Matrix?
It seems the Tein Susp. is my only hope if so.

Thanks
C-YA!!

My understanding is that the dealer can only deny you of warranty work if they can prove that the aftermarket part that you installed is indeed the culprit of the problem.

Blown stock shocks is a given. They're not gonna replace them if you slam your ride to the ground. I've already read about some owners blowing struts/shocks but they were using coilovers and dropped it crazy low.

I just installed a set of Hotchkis springs (1.5" front. 1 1/8" rear)
The front lowered more than what I expected. The rear is subtle.

Tein S.Tech springs lower 2.3" front 2.1" rear.
Eibach Sportline and Progress lower roughly at 2".

And then there's always TRD and Eibach Prokits at 1.25".

Also, I almost went w/ using H&R Sport springs at 1.3" front 1.2" rear.

Pics of my drop are here ---> http://www.toyotanation.com/showthre...threadid=16806

Realy.
One of my clubmates is a KYB rep. I think I am going to have to give him a call and see if something is in the works.
Maybe some AGX's? ('')
I think I might swing w/ the hotchkis also I like the height that your car is sitting at.
They should fit the BSE model also right?

BTW hows the ride w/ the stock struts/shocks?
Bottom out any w/ a load in it?

Thanks again for all the good info.

No doubt. KYB AGX would be nice.

Yes, the Hotchkis springs will fit the base model.

It pretty much still rides like stock. It's a little stiffer but not too noticeable. Stays flat on turns.

Thanks for the link there Dredd.
I saw those (I think I even made a post)but did not think that any of those were the one that was in th pic of what I figured is your car.
Looked more like the X design inserts that I see most other cars sporting.

I dunno?
Got some info Maybe?
Thanks again
C-YA!!
