low rpm, almost stalled

I have a '05 xr automatic.. currently stock. After getting off highway other day and come to stop, my engine idle was going way low and feel as if it was going to stall. Something wrong, or some kind of service I need to do?

Could be any multiple of things, but start with the simplest.

Perhaps the MAF sensor needs to be cleaned, or it may be the idle valve. Heck it coould even be the spark plugs.

If by chance you still have the warranty, you can have Toyota look at it, just remember that they cannot do any service unless you approve it.

Good luck & let us know what was the cause and resolution.
