AEM SRI Intake for 2005 Xr

Yesterday, I installed the AEM SRI and realized that instructions showed different things that my car did not have. I did not have any hose to connect into the small air inlet on the new intake. there's a larger (1") hose that comes out of the engine which originally connects to the stock rubber hose that connects the engine to the air box but the new intake doesn't have such port to connect that.

I'm wonderin if any had installed the AEM intake on an '05 and had any problems with the install following instructions given.

did you buy it for an 04 model?
cause the only brand that works straight out of the box (without and modifications) right now is Cosmo Racing CAI
if you bought a CAI for an older year you're going to need to modifiy it in order for it to work on the 05+
