Keyless Entry Location

My girlfriend has a 2003 Matrix with electric locks, but no fob. I was wondering where the remote box is installed to see if her car has keyless entry and we don't know it. If anyone has an idea as to where the location of the receiver is, I'd appreciate it. Thanks..............

I have another option that might be a little easier. If you go to www.keylessride.com and use their automated tool (located on the left side of the page), you can enter your VIN and it will check to see if you have that option. Sometimes it will tell you that it is unable to determine if you are equipped or not. If this is the case, they will give you a sequence of events to use to determine it as such. I would paste them on here for you, but the site won't let me copy them.

Hopefully this will be of some assistance.

Thanks a lot, I'll try that. I searched for this topic and couldn't find a response. I was actually going to purchase a fob and try the re-programing that I found here:

Thanks again,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,
