Exhaust for XR 4WD

Hi, Matrix owners.

I will soon be in the possession of an XR 4WD Matrix and I'm planning some modifications. Among them will be an exhaust system; possibly only the muffler to begin with. And thus follows my question:

How will I be able to pipe the new exhaust when the stock one is "horizontal-mount" and the cat-back pipe meets the exhaust on the passenger-side of the car? If anyone has the same model Matrix with exhaust modifications, could you please give me some ideas or send me some pictures?

Just to keep some ppl interested, the other mods I am planning for include tint, suspension (lowering springs), and possibly install HID package. But first I have to see how much $$ I have to work with :p
