Hi,

I just bought my Matrix on Friday and I am really excited!

I would like some floormat advice. What do you think is best for an 03 Blue Matrix with dark interior?

Can you offer any links?

OEM! They fit the best.

Another vote for the Toyota mats. My Matrix came with the carpet mats and I bought the all season mats for the winter. They fit perfectly especially on the driver's side. You'd probably have to cut up a universal type mat beyond recognition to get it to fit as well.

Yup I would have to agree with the OEM mats...I saw a story on the " W5" show on CTV a year or so ago about the number of accidents that have been caused by cheap non OEM mats because they can slide and get caught up under the brake pedal and when these poor folks needed to slam on their brakes their mats were bunched up underneath the brake pedal and they weren't able to stop in time...one example they used was a minivan carrying 3 kids...the mother survived...the kids didn't...just terribly sad...so to me for the extra few bucks...pay for the ones designed for the vehicle...
