Empty Battery 2003 Matrix RX

Here is the story,
Car not starting, Battery empty. Jumped and it works, map light was on !!
Ok I that I put it on by mistake.
To day, I was working in the trunk, putting a pies of carpet in, opened and closed the trunk several times all of a sudden the light on the mirror cam on and stud on.
Did somebody had this before, ore do I dreaming ?

There are two switches just below your rear view miror to turn ON and OFF those lights.

Make sure all the acessories are turned off. Are you getting a short somewhere? Have you gotten your battery tested?
