TRD VS. TWM short shifter

So i have to opportunity to buy a trd short shifter, how does it compare to the TWM.? the trd shifter is new and somehow cheaper then the twm.k I would like opinion if or experiences if anyone has any

I don't think the twm would void any warrenty because it replaces the whole shifter assy....replacing the plastic base with a metal one.

I think trd parts are only under warrenty if they are installed by a dealer, and if you add 1 or 2 hours of install time to the cost of the trd shifter, it really adds up.

I've got a twm shifter, weighted knob, and redline shifter boot. I bought the SS on ebay from twm for 199+12 shipping. The boot and knob were purchase from MO forum for about ~70
I really like the difference. Shifts are more definite and very short throws. No more of that flexy plastic feel in the shifter....and the weighted knob smooths it out. With the stock shifter knob it's kind of knotchy.
