I work for Toyota in Cambridge (TMMC), we build the Matrix and Corolla.

I walked into my local dealership on a tuesday and was driving a XRS that friday. For about six thousand less than all of you would pay.

2003 XRS for $21,000. CAN

We build for Canada, US, and Mexico. We can't build them fast enough. Something like 8 out of every 10 cars go to the states. We build 950 cars a day. Corolla/Matrix. One vechicle comes off the line every 59 sec's

Did you guys now that the Mexico Matrix comes with a factory installed fire extinguisher. I thought it was kind of strange. It's required by law i think.

I have a question I have a part number for the 6disc radio that the american cars get. Does anyone know if it is the same wire harness for the single cd? Could i just plug it in and would it work?

Didn't know it was sold in Mexico. I know it's also sold in Puerto Rico.
