what would happen if you drove a 2003 matrix about 10 miles at 35 mph with the parking brake partially engaged.

Nothing really, maybe a little shorter life to the drums or disc pads. Do you have a base, XR, XRS or 4wd model?

The rear brakes or parking brake system wear slower then the front brakes. You have taken some life off the brake pads or shoes. Unless the brake system starts pulsing, squealing or has other issues, don’t worry about it.

Brakes on

I did the same thing about a year ago. Drove 9 miles on the freeway and did not realize until I got off the freeway. Wheels were really hot and you could smell them, but no apparent damage when I had the vehicle serviced and checked.
