has any other company built a cai for an 05 up matrix besides cosmo??

Fujita just came out with one. It's supposed to be pretty nice and it can also be converted to be a short ram. Kind of pricey though. Cosmo, I think, is the best bang for your buck but make sure you swap out the filter, the stock one is not very good.

i have had both, and actually i am currently seeling my cosmo which i only used for 3 months. They are both a plus on peformance, but if you have the cahs go with the fujita, if not then the cosmo is a reasonable substitute for the fujita.
