Canada Is there any change from 2007 to 2008?

Is there any design change from the 2007 to 2008 models? I'm just about ready to go shopping and would rather ask here than get the sales talk as of yet.

The 08's will be short lived also. The 09 redesign is coming out early next year, February possibly.

Canada 07 or 08?

Not that I know of, but get the 08 because when I bought mine two weeks age it was the same price as the 07. The only difference is the 2% break they give you on financing the 07 (1.9%) versus the 08 (3.9%)

I just bought an 08 XR with various extras. I looked at an 07 and 08 side by side only difference was the 08 was manual and 07 auto. I would have taken either an 07 or 08, it was just a question of availabilityon our area. I hoping this corolla is as reliable as the one leaving the driveway today, a 94 prizim with 275k and still running strong

So, I ordered a 2008 XR on Saturday. I told them that there wasn't any big hurry but I'm impatient already.

Hope you got the 5-speed, makes a huge difference this car! This engine just does not have enough stock hp for an auto. I love my 5, but could have easily passed on this car with an auto.

Yes it's a 5 speed. We didn't even take an automatic for a test drive. In my mind I just can't see a small car and an automatic transmission going together. It takes half of the fun away.

We picked up the car last night. It replaced a 1998 Ford Windstar and, nothing against the Windstar, I couldn't be happier. It rides well, has adequate to suprising pickup, and will make mu monthly fuel bill oh so much lighter. The dealer tells me that the only change in model years is in the owners manual (2007 to 2008).
