what Intakes fit 07 bases?

Ive been on M.O for a while now but i thought id give TN a try, its really hard to find intakes for my car, i know there isnt super big changes from year to year but most intakes say 03-04 or 03-06 XR. and i dont wanna buy 1 thats not gonna fit, if im correct engine wise bases and the xr are the same right. my plan was jus to get some cheapo ebay pipe and an aem filter jus to test fit it and if it works than id jus use that. but yea i was wondering if anyone else on here has a 07 with an intake.

i think pretty much the only ones that fit are from cosmo. there site is cosmoracing.com tho idk if they are carb cert or whatever b/c we dont have to worry about stuff in florida. if you need to be legal tho, you can get ones that are for the prev yrs but in order for them to work right and not get the cel there is a slight mod that you have to do

Fujita makes an intake that fits the 05 and up as well, and it looks just like the Injen, so I'm sure it would work fine too. The fujita is a two piece, so you can convert it to a sri

The fujita and injen are both really nice. I cannot speak for the Cosmo. I know most people arent impressed with their filters.

Are mostly all of the intakes the same as far as performance? I have an '05 XRS and I'm looking for an intake. I know that Injen is probably one of if not the best... what about this one? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-05...spagenameZWDVW

So would the "works" be an intake and a exhaust? those two would put an XRS into kick ass mode? any suggestion for an intake and an exhaust that would compliment one another? looking to get both of them put in.... holla atcha boy!

I'd avoid that intake you just linked to. If the 02-03 XRS intakes fit the 04+ models, then Injen and other companies wouldnt take the time to develop and produce a different intake for those models. Going with a generic intake is just asking for a CEL.

The Magnaflow seems to be the exhaust of choice because its a full cat-back and not an axle back like most of the Matrix systems out there. Its the best value for the money and has a great sound.
