'03 matrix stalls on freeway

while im on cruise control on highway and i flash highbeam it gives my car a light stall. i know this is not or never normal for any car. i was wondering if this had been discussed or any other matrix has this problem. mine is an auto.

sounds like the battery is getting weak,replace befor you get the probelems,the mor electrice stuff you have the more cca's you want

id take it to a shop and see if they can hook up a computer to it to test for some kind of electrical draw. depending on age of car, a new battery wouldnt hurt.

while you're at it, get the alternator looked at. when you rev up almost to redline while driving, do you get a light that comes on that looks like a battery? if so, that is a good sign that it is time for a new alternator.

....it's possible that you hit or nudged the cruise control stalk when you flashed your lights.
When you are out driving next time, knock the cruise stalk in the "set" or "accel" directions, it will feel like a slight stall. I'll bet that's what happened.

It's the battery...
It happens to me too. I was just driving normal and my DRL was okay but when headlight turn on.. my car... uhm... almost hit 5 cars since my car was stopped middle of no where on freeway.
Well you should change the battery before somebody crash into ur car.
