Ipod connection for 03 Matrix XR

Can anyone suggest an Ipod connection for the 03 Matrix XR? I'd like to have something directly connected to my speakers, without having to use an FM transmitter or anything. If you could specify whether I could install it myself, that'd be great. thanks

It all depends on what type of head-unit you have, single CD ,6 DISC Changer. If you have just the base head-unit then you can try the
PAC AUX-BOX ,PAC iPAC-OEM ,Peripheral iPOD2CAR ,Neo Auxin ,Neo iON.Just remember when you install any of these you will need to set the dip switch to"class 2 mode".

I also have an 03 Matrix with 6-disc changer - has anyone actually had success with the PIE or PAC iPod adapters in an 03 or 04 Matrix w/ 6 disc changer? I have heard that the 6 disc changer with the 03 and 04 Matrix doesn't work with any iPod adapters. Thanks.
