The remote buttons seem to be working but I can't be sure if the remote is putting out a signal. I tried to find different sites as to what the programming is and they all say the same way. I even tried my own little differences like up the times to 3 sec for the lock and unlock button on time and instead of lock for the second push I tried unlock. I just don't get any confirmation from the car as to a good or bad programming try. I have ordered a used remote from Ebay for $15, seller says that the remote is tested and verified to be working, to try to see if it is the original remotes that are broken or hopefully not the car. Thanks for the reply to my post.

If you are getting confirmation from the car while doing it, then you have the correct procedure. If you are sure that the remotes you have now are correct, then try rewrite. The add mode will add the remotes to the list of codes that are allowed to operate the locks, of which there can only be four or five. If the max # has been reached, then you won't be able to register anything under 'add'. Rewrite will erase whatever codes are stored in memory and start over with the codes you are trying to register at the moment. Also, as far as ordering off of ebay, you have to make sure that you are looking for the FCC id#. If the remotes you have now used to work, then match that number to the new one you order, otherwise it won't function.
