Trix v. Vibe lock actuators

I've searched but not found a thread on actuators. Are the Matrix and Vibe actuators the same?

My door locks are not working on 3 out of 4 doors, and two Pontiac dealers and one local guy all said the actuators are the culprit. Very expensive to replace. Any chance it might be the remotes, and they need to be reprogrammed? Can anyone tell me the magic reprogramming method?

If I do need to replace the actuators, has anyone done it themselves, and could you run me through getting the doors off etc.? Otherwise, love the Vibe. t
