need help! Quick Question about compatibility of Steel Rims

hi,

I have a quick question... I found a set of steel rims but the problem was that they were from a BMW... they are 15" 195/65/15s I've read somewhere on this forums that those do fit... my only concern is whether or not those BMW steelies which are in a 5 bolt pattern will fit my trixy??? anyone know if they fit???

thanx,

SGS

the trix is running a 5x100 lug pattern. if the bmw rims are also a 5x100, then they will fit. as you stated, they are the 5 lug which is the first half of that. the 100 is referring to spacing on the lugs.

Simple way is to remove one wheel and see how well it sits on the car's hub.

Others a fussy about the wheel being hub centric or not.

wow Frank now your talkin
yes must consider bolt pattern
hub size, like frank said. youe prefer hub centric NOT stud centric (could result in broken studs or a crazy vibration)

and also have to consider wheel offset

or go to the local scrap yard and pick up for corolla rims????

thanx guys...

I've learned osmething new too....

I checked it out... hte bolts are different and didn't fit... I asked a mechanic and he explained to me that the BMW and Mercs have their own pattern.... so it usually doesn't fit.... so I guess I would haev to go buy other ones..... thanx for the offer... but shippping it would be a hassle.... but found a local dealer that does it cheap....
