Canada Matrix fob

I just bought a new fob online. Programming was easy. One question though:

my old fob had a lock, unlock, and panic button. The new job I ordered has all three but also a hatch/glass button. It doesn't seem to work though I was hoping that it would. Could it be that there is a special wiring connection that my Matrix doesn't have that is only available on some versions. I would have expected that mine would!

I own a 2005 XRS Matrix for the record.

thx

Answered my own question...had to hold down the hatch/glass button for a second or 2 for it to pop open. Leads me to another question, are there any other "secret functions" or "easter eggs" that open if you press the buttons a certain way?

... One of our fobs is MIA - still have one plus the valet key ...

Just thinking that at the end of the lease, they're going to want both fobs back ...

('05 Matrix XR)

Thanks

^eBay. If you're worried about handing in a missing one.

You can have up to 4 FOBs connected to your vehicle. You can also delete them. There is a technician document at http://www.matrixowners.com/ which shows how to do this.
