there is no filter in the tranny. its pretty much a drain and fill. and ask for a small collapsible washer when you get the tranny fluid from the dealer.

I intend to use T-IV, i just wanted to know if there was a place online or something that carried it other than the dealer...i HATE the people at my dealership...they treat my wife like shit while i was deployed and i really dont want to give them my business. only other toyota dealer is 90 miles away one way...and i would drive there with gas at $3.35 a gallon before i gave Waite Toyota of Watertown NY my business ever again.
IN FACT...im to driving to Dallas this christmas, and Jason at JP Imports will be doing some work on my car...so having said that, i would drive the 1500 miles to dallas TX before i gave Waite Toyota of Watertown any of my business.
and no, i wasnt planning on using ANYTHING except toyota T-IV in the tranny. i dont take my car to quick lube places, i do this stuff myself.
