I was just wondering if anyone knew how many Matrix XRS's have been made worldwide or atleast in the USA??? It seemed really difficult to find mine... I mean I had to but it out of state and I live in a really big city and I had never really even seen a Matrix until I started actually looking into what Toyota had to offer in its product line.... My buddy just had to go out of state to get a MazdaSpeed6... I remember looking into the MazdaSpeed3 but the interior was not as spacious as my Trix... plus the whole turbocharged engine seemed to be a little bit outta control for what I was looking to use the the car for. I have a daily commute of approx 60miles so MPG was a high priority on my list and with my '05 XRS I am getting about 32-35MPG (highway).... Plus IMO, you cannit beat Toyota's reliability!

so anyone know how many Matrix XRS's have been made? it's kinda sad that Toyota doesn't want to make a limited addition XRS with an engine with more HP... anyone???? thanks in advance!

I think it's in the Kajillion.
There is a limited edition XRS - the 03 4A. I hear fun factor = 1 compared to a 6M.
XRS' can be found here easily, like hookers on Church St.
I think my 4WD wants to grow up to be an XRS one day.
