Recently purchased a 2006 Trix Canadian TRD. It has power door locks. It has no keyless remote. I would like to add keyless remote. I have access to a couple of correct Toyota remote FOB's to control the locks. However I tried the programming procedure and nothing happens. I guess the trix doesn't have whatever electronic module is required to control the locks.
Does anyone know what electronic module is required and how and where to install it. I would like to get the keyless remotes working. I looked at aftermarket alarms and such but would prefer to stick with a stock module. Don't really need to go to the expensive of all the remote start and features when all I really want is keyless entry working.
Any help is appreciated ....
