Check Engine light

Toyota Matrix 05
Light comes on and went to Autozone to have codes read.
P2716 code received.
Definition: Pressure Control Solenoid " D" Electrical
Explanation
Open or short circuit condition
Probable causes
1 - Poor Electrical connection
2 - Failed Pressure Control Solenoid
3 - Transmission valve body fault.

Went to Penn Toyota which is where I purchased the car.
I am told I need to replace the ECM module
Part # 89661-02K41.
The part is on order and will take 3 -5 days to get.

Current symptoms
This is an automatic and while the car upshifts from 1st to 2nd it seems to jump into second. Definately not smooth.

I was also thinking that I just installed a remote starter and possibly this could have affected the ECM - Hmmm Any thoughts on this ?

The TSB states:

This repair is covered under the Toyota Federal Emissions Warranty. This warranty is
in effect for 96 months or 80,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle’s
in-service date.
