This thread make me laugh a little.

But to answer your question, you'll lose. I googled the 97 328i and it has 190hp/206tq. Not to mention your inexperience. You'll need more than your racing spark plug wires and your little bit of exhaust to keep up.

ROFLMAO So the BMW owner is 15? Wow, I'm not aware that they issue licenses at that age. How do you have a little bit of exhaust? Either you do or you don't. There's no chance for you to win from horsepower alone, not to mention the massive torque advantage he has over you.
126hp/122tq + CAI + wires + little bit of exhaust vs. 190hp/206tq plus the injectors, intake, exhaust, and his experience = fail.

btw, this better not be some illegal street race...

He's a kid thinking he can beat a BMW 328i. He really doesn't know any better.

LMAO at this thread. Yeah dude, you're gonna get smoked. I didn't even know the specs, (thanks mista) and knew you'd lose. My gf sitting here knows very little about cars; she laughed when I read this to her and said 'no chance in hell.' Now an XRS will even things up a bit, but that does not mean you should be street racing. Hopefully you're smart enough to take it to a drag strip or long straight road that no one else drives on. I'd hate to roll up on your accident and peel you off a street sign or another car's windshield.

According to your sn, it seems that you've done this before.

You'll lose from his torque alone.

Did you say he was 15... Which would make you around the same age.

I hope you're "racing" on private property...

Since they're 15, they can't even qualify for a driving permit. I guess they got nothing to lose since their underage anyways.
