NOOBIE here

Hi, just bought my first toyota and I bought a Matrix XRS. I plan on doing alot of mods to the car.

My question to other matrix owners is, what are your suggestions in the way of mods to the car right off the get go? Im thinking of a turbo, exhaust and wheels/rubber right out of the gate. Is that too much to begin with? Any recomendations regarding turbo kits?

Any suggestions would be most appreciative

Boosting the XRS is tough work.
11.5:1 compression is high.

Did you get an 03 or 04?

Plenty of intakes and exhausts available.

What's up there is alot of mods for the XRS many still in the works also. I personally am a TRD poster child. If you look at prices they seem kinda high, but I can give you a name of a dealer who has deals that are way lower the what TRD is asking. Good luck and enjoy.

I suggest the TRD Supercharger, although the compression is too high to get out any really good numbers. :\
