toyota should be sending letters to the owners. and i am assuming to the names they have on their database..

So if you bought and serviced your matrix in a non toyota dealership, it might be better to walk in to the dealership and have it fixed

It took effect a few weeks ago but that press release only included USA destined Matrices. It looks like it applies to Canadian bound ones too.

actually i went to the dealership last week they said to wait for the letter...the "mechanic" claims that they still have to figure out how much cost to fix the defects

The campaign hasn't been released in Canada yet, when it does it will be campaign 808. Dealers can't do the campaign until it is released.
