New brake pads.

Any comments on NAPA ceramic front brake pads for '04 Matrix. Do they come w/shims etc.? Other suggestion has been Can Tire Monroe #MGX923. Doesn't say whether ceramic or not, and different from Monroe website model #s and can't contact company for info. Other suggestions would be appreciated for alloy rims.
Thanks

I replace mine with Wagner Thermo Quiet ceramic brake pads. No shims require and install was a breeze. Thumb up. You can get these pads at any auto part stores like Napa, Part Sources, Crappy Tires lol

X2 and yes, the install really is a breeze when you have someone helping that knows what they're doing!

I am not sure if stock is ceramic or semi-metallic but Wagner Thermoquiet ceramic is easier on the rotors which help rotor last longer. And ceramic doesn't heat up fast so you will get a more quiet and softer few brakes.

Thanks Kanata for feedback. I guess what I am asking is how much faster do you stop using ceramics over stock pads? My wife has a 2009 Honda CRV, and when I apply the brakes it practically sends you through the windshield, they are so good. When I get back in the Matix, the braking reaction is not nearly as good and I want to improve this situation. Thanks again for your response
