Lowering Springs...

I'll be getting some lowering springs in the next few weeks for my '07.
I've narrowed it down to the Eibachs & Tein-S.

I'm looking for "reviews" of ride quality with each.
I don't want to degrade the already "rough" ride much more.
Eibachs progressive spring rate seems to be leading me there, but seems like most use Teins to lower their Matrixs.

Thanks.

Through this site I already got my "vvt-i" stickers I've been wanting and what looks like a good supplier for springs. Cool.

Eibach's is good but not low enough for your car just about 1.2" front and back....Tein's 2.2" drop is good if you live in a sunny weather down south....but too low from my end...i own a 03 Trix XRS already scrapping the lip....i got Tein H-type 1.7(front), 1.8(Rear) pretty good feels like stock i got Tokico's struts with it....

Eibach has a "Sportline" kit that lowers it about as much as the Tein-Ss.
1.8"F and 2.1R. I'm not sure how they pull off 1/2" less but I they look pretty good.

From what I've read about Eibachs in general they're great quality and have a good ride too.

It's hard to figure out the Teins, some say it's better than stock some say worst.

I have Suspension Technique Springs, They lower to just the right amount and the ride is sick...not to mention they are much cheaper than the others and ride smoother.

I guess that's what I wanted to hear.

I lowered my Olds with Moog springs from a different application and all the Eibach fan boys would tell me how much better they're can handled and rode and how they were "worth the extra money".

I haven't seen many using the TRD springs. I also thought about the STS an Intrax springs but I keep going back to the Eibachs in my head.

Are there trd springs that have that much drop?
I thought the only trd springs were 1.25" drop and made by eibach, same as the eibach prokit, but with slightly less travel

@ first i used to feel each crack on the road with my stock springs. i'll try to get before and after pic if you don;t believe the drop.

it is probably better to get an aftermarket shocks because the stock one's wouldn't last i definitely guarantee it will blown less than a year....

I have the Eibach Pro-Kits. They are no more than 1.5" drop max after a couple of years of settling. They really just make the Matrix look normal like it should have been from the factory. Here's a shot after a couple of months of settling.
