2007 Starting problem

Well I just got my 2007 XR with 4,000 miles on it 3 weeks ago. It has been fine until tonight. I just got back from my friends house and I decided to go run a errand. When I went to start the car it would not start. The starter didn't even crank. I could here a relay click sound everytime I turned the key to start. It was coming from the passengerside dash. I went in the house to try the other key and it started. Now both keys are working fine but evertime I start the car, the maint. required light flashes 7 times and then goes out. I know its under warranty but does anyone know what this could be?

Stick or auto?

It is a automatic and yes I did try moving the shifter into neutral to see if it was the neutral safety switch but it did the same thing.
