in terms of colour the higher the "k" ie 12K the more funky the colour will be.(purple) the lower the "k" the brighter it will be. oem are arnd 5k it gives off the light blue.

in terms of bulb type they will have kits for diff bulb applications i think the matrix is a 9006 bulb.

interms of install, if u have day time running lights it must br disabled...the auto on/off switch the us cars come with i think are ok to use.

Low Beam and Fog Lights are 9006, Hi-Beams are 9005
I like the temp 8000K-10,000K becuz it's blue-ish but really white.
I have seen a lot of people get 6000K which is WHITE.
It's depends on what color you want to get.
They have all colors... lol
I have 8000K on my fog but there's yellow over lay on, so it look GREEN. (blue+yellow=green)
Well the color temp is depends on what color you like.
The recommendation is 6000K (my friends say that)

for fog lights, i suggest going with a 4000k which is getting toward yellow without needing the overlays so much. for driving lights, i suggest 5000k-6000k. this is just what i personally like. what you should do is look at websites that show the different color temperatures and decide what you like for your car, then look at getting lights in that range.
