Crank Window Makin Grinding Noise

Just bought this car used, I love her! Her name is Jasmin... heheh

But anyway, when I roll the window up or down, it makes a grinding noise, I'm wondering if I need a new part, or is it something I can fix?

Hey they just issued a recall for the front windows for the Matrix. you should contact your local dealership right away because the window can shatter if you mess with it too much.

The recall is power windows related for 03-04 only. When you say "crank" leads me to believe you've got manual windows.

manual windows i don't think is covered...or maybe i could be wrong ??

i jus got my notice, only 03-04 power windows. corolla/matrix. nothing is wrong with mine so far.
