Engine vibrating after 66K

Just bought car used. But is it normal for the engine to rev up a few hundred RPM's when idle? The engine just seems to be over all louder than what I am used to. It doesn't seem to be a smooth, quiet engine. Could be normal?

The wife noticed to, which means it is loud!

Does this happen before or after the engine warms up ?

It happens as soon as I turn the car on. And will happen as long as it's on. If I'm going real slow, in a parking lot, or what not, the engine will start to vibrate, enough to fell it inside the car.
