USA Front turn signal light won't work

Just bought a used 2006 Matrix XR, killer deal.

When the Right turn signal is turned on the R rear turn signal lights up but it blinks twice as fast as normal. The signal indicator on the console blinks twice as fast as normal. But the R front turn signal light does not illuminate.
I changed out the R front turn signal bulb with a new bulb but the new bulb did not light up and did not alter the problem.

All the other electronics seem to be working well.

I've examined the fuses under the console and under the hood and I don't see a blown fuse.

Any ideas?

TIA

Also, anyone know a good way to get an owner's manual for a 2006? As I said it was a deal, aformer repossesion.

From what you've described, the symptons are consistent with a blown bulb. Maybe there is a short in the actual socket? Or you just got a bad bulb. Try switching the left and rights around (I know, not an easy job).

OK I got it fixed

Yeah the new bulb was ok but the receiver wasn't plugged all the way into the receptacle.

Thanks for directing me back to the problem. Should have checked that first.
