!!! Power loss!!!

I had a power loss on the highway 2 months ago. MY XRS was like if if I pulled my foot off the accelerator! A friend of mine said that it is the MAF sensor. I changed it recently but I still have a problem with my car. Is it really bad on low RPM especialy on 4,5,6 gears. I thought to go to the dealership but I now these people just dont give a shit about their costumers or the cars they are repairing. Give me any ideas what kind a shop should I go to look it up. Please dont tell me to go to my local repair shop cause that's not happening! I want to leave it with someone who knows what they're doing. BIG THANKS!

Make sure you go somewhere that really knows the 2zz engine. I think you'll find the dealer is probably your best bet.

Are you getting any CEL's? It might be the the limp mode (or safe mode) safety feature Toyota builds into all their cars, basically stops the engine from going more 3000 RPM because there is a problem, like bad gas, etc.

The oil is fine- Mobil 1 Extendet Performence fully synthetic every 5000 miles. No wierd noises. No problem with the engine going more than 3000 RPMs. It goes to 7800 RPMs as usual but slower than usual. Oh, and yes I have e CEL codes p0134 that I had from before when I first put CAI in my car and a new one came out on the last check p2195. I'll go probably to the dealer if you think they are my best bet. Thanks

before going to the dealer, go to your local autoparts chain store, like shucks or autozone. have the read the codes for you with their reader. This is free. that can tell you what the codes mean, because i dont know what they are off the top of my head.

p2195 - is usually oxygen sensor related.

get a code reader to find the cause - it's most likely a bad o2 sensor.
