Stone chip on windsheild

Hello all,

I own a 2005 Matrix XR. Last week, i got hit with stone chip and made "L" shaped crack on the windsheild. The crack is extending towards the passenger side of the door. I believe that stone chip repair is not possible and would have to replace the windsheild. I'm looking for best place and best deal to replace it. Please let me know your suggestion and advice on this.

go to the dealer you got your car from. ask them who they suggest to replace your windshield. get that group's phone number then call them and tell them that your dealer referred you and you are looking for the price.

i got a quote about 6 months ago that it would be $160 with the dealer referral. just looking online, everybody else was around $260.

Desh, if you're in the Scarborough area or can get your car to Scarborough, I can recommend a shop for you. They use OEM glass and contracted by various dealerships in their area.
