How to replace headlight

In my 2005 Matrix the driver's side head light is burned out. I checked and it looks like i have to remove the battery to get at the unit. Dont' want to do that. Does anyone know of a better way?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I ended up removing the battery and found that the connectors had come off. I had some painting done recently and they must not have put the connectors back on properly.
