GB: Black Pearl Front Emblem

I spoke with Ted from Sterling McCall Toyota in Texas this week and he said he can order the Black Pearl Front Emblems for us. He just fit one on a Matrix today.

The Part # is PT577-AA30A
Price: $27 + $4 shipping within 48 States
This is for the FRONT Emblem Only. Here's a pic I found for the Camry.

Ultraviolet got them custom done for $25 per emblem.

Place your orders here:
https://www.mhiwebdesign.com/secure/...oyotaorder.htm
You don't need your VIN#, just type in random #s.

Email Ted at: troach@sterlingmccalltoyota.com if you have any questions.
He has the best prices on TRD & OEM parts.

That looks nice.
But I didn't want one that blends right into the grill.
I wanted the Toyota Logo to be visible to not stick out like a sore thumb in chrome.
So the Black Pearl does it for me.
What methods did you use to paint your emblem Mista? How many coats and did you use primer?

Same for me. I did not want it to totally blend in, plus the black pearl matches my hyperblack rims. Once I paint my headlights, there will be no visible chrom on the outside.

Ok, finally got a chance to take pics.
It was cloudy out, but the emblem still refects light and looks brighter/darker depending on the reflection.

W/O flash.

With flash, it got darker out.

Larger pics available HERE

Looks good.
At least it won't chip off like the BBQ paint does.

So the BBQ paint does chip off like other paints?
I didn't put primer on when I painted mine, so it chiped after a month.
