Hey Everyone, I'm thinking of purchasing a used Matrix. Probably an '05-'08. Occasionally I see some ads for salvage title cars and they are priced very cheaply. What are the drawbacks of buying a salvage title car? Is any warranty voided by salvage title? If so, could an aftermarket warranty still be purchased? Also, do the auto's have as many problems as the clutch in the manuals do? I'd prefer a manual for the increased mpg but don't want to have to replace the clutch every couple years. Are the '06-'08's more reliable clutch wise? Thanks.

Welcome to TN, There is a reason why salvaged title cars are so cheap. BUYER BEWARE! Once salvaged they are no longer covered under warranty and no warranty provider will cover unless you pay a heafty fee. A lot of the questions you ask can be answered with the search.
