FWD vs. 4WD

Hi guys,
I did a quick peek through the active threads and didn't see anything. My apologies if it's been brought up before. I was just wondering about differences between the FWD XRS and the 4WD XR. I notice that the 4WD has a lot less hp, but I've heard good things about 4WD really moving when you need to. Can you tell me pros, cons or your own personal experiences with the Matrix?

Right now I'm leaning towards a used XRS, just becuase it has a lot more standard upgrades on it and it's got a lot more power. Let me know..

The XR 4WD isn't full time 4WD, it only works when the front wheels loose traction.
You can also go on www.matrixowners.com and get more responses to your questions and searches.
I have an XRS, it drives fine in the snow. Can't drive that fast in snow anyways.

A few people have put the TRD Supercharger on their 4WD, now that's something you can think about too.
Only think w/ 4WD is that you can't lower it. There's no springs out on the market yet b/c if the independent rear suspension.

go for it

like mr MATR6 said for the AWD
it essentially performs as a 2 wheeler till it starts to slip
then it engages the back wheel
less power, less a/m support
