Gauge Cluster Removal- Seat Belt Chime INSTANITY

The seat belt warning chime is really driving me nuts. I've tried the b-on b-off procedure as found here at TN but to no avail...I am ready to take an ice pic the the gauges in hopes of piercing the dang chime. Was hoping someone could steer me towards a guide for a less chaotic method of dash/cluster removal before I really do something stupid.
I wear my seat belt....but we have a looooong driveway that I often drive the trash to the dumpster on....I DONT NEED MY FRIGGIN SEAT BELT FOR THIS!!!!!!!!!!!! I also like to start the car and THEN put my seat belt on....gives me an extra few seconds of the car warming up.

Oh....also....the other day I had maybe 10 pounds of groceries on the passenger seat and it started going off on the way home.
It is loud too....louder than the 08 Corolla....in fact, I bet if I measured the decibal level it might register as potentially harmful....see how peeved off I am about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well to take the cluster ouyt is very simple. Start pulling the rings off by tilting them upwards from the bottom. Then there are a few visible screws to remove to pull the cluster out. I can't remember exactly but if I figured it out easily, anyone can. Not sure what you'll do from there though. I'd try the b -0n-0ff-b thing some more. It's tricky but should work. For instance, you have to be sitting on the seat and have the door closed. Good luck.

Yeah I've tried the procedure several times...door open, door closed, parking brake on, off, sitting in the seat, not sitting in the seat, etc, etc, etc....

I just hope that unhooking the thing, or cutting a wire doesnt screw anything else up. (likely won't cut a wire). I guess the other option would be to unhook a wire under the seat or at the seatbelt maybe???? Not sure if this is somehow tied into the airbag system.sensors????

I think what I am going to do...is to get into the two wires going into the female end of the seat belt...splice those together and that should do the trick...sort of tricking the system into thinking the seat belt is always buckled. This should have no adverse affect on the airbag system or anything else....
