What the matrix really is? Some say a fancy stationwagon, others a car with a modified hatchback. But does anybody really know what the Matrix is. The Matrix is all around us, it is red, it is silver, and white. But it does not stop there, it is yellow with 2 different blues, black and grey.

The Matrix is what it is and that only one can speculate. The Mtrix is what you want it to be. The Master Yota says it is a car cross-over, between a SUV and a car. But what really is a cross-over? Only the Yota knows. So you ask what is the Matrix, it is what you want it to be.

Actually the matrix is a SUV-car cross-over. Although the MAtrix can look and feel sporty it is not a Sport car or performance car. Just a cool looking stationwagon that has been relabeled as a cross-over vehicle, like the Caddy Escalade. Its a Pick-up, yet its a SUV.

You can call the MAtrix a Sports Wagon

in australia you can probably call a holden commodore ss wagon a sports wagon with its 285kw gen 3 v8 engine.

don't look like one though, more like a lion in sheep's clothing

isn't it a "wolf" in sheep's clothing?
Anyway, matrix is just a wagon, kinda like a small van maybe.

Geez. Lotta haters in here.

Sportivo probably described it best. It's half this and half that.
For me, it's the perfect vehicle. I can haul the family and camping gear one day. Another day I can keep up or pass Celica GTS' and saved myself $7000-8000 for having the same engine.
