What is the best replacement converter for 2003 (1ZZ-FE)

I'm considering replacement of my 2003 converter (1ZZ-FE engine). I have priced the replacement part at four Toyota dealers and gotten conflicting information. Only one of the four dealers has recommended the "Repair Part" converter (Part No. 17410-0D360) that is recommended in the Technical Service Bulletin about converter problems with the '03 - '04 Matrix (TSB No. EG026-04, dated 7/12/04). The other three dealers have recommended the "Original Part Number" converter (No. 17410-0D150). The 2004 TSB says the repair part converter should be used if the converter has turned on the check engine light. (In addition to replacing the converter, the car's computer should be re-programmed to improve the fuel mixture.)

Does anyone know the difference between the 17410-0D150 original part and the 17410-0D360 repair part converter? Is the -0D360 repair part converter better than the original -0D150 converter? I was surprised to learn that the -0D360 repair part costs $300.00 less than the -0D150 original part! (Too good to be true?)

I have heard that a wack of $$$$$ can be saved by using the
MagnaFlow 94105 Universal Catalytic Converter for about $65. and having it welded in.

No personal knowledge, just what I have read.

I don't think the Magnaflow one lasts very long, but the price is right. I'm thinking of the Vibrant one myself.
