Just got an 03 Matrix XR and have my iPod sitting

next to me on the seat. I have a 6-changer CD player. I don't want to spend hundreds to play through the system - is there an inexpensive solution? I don't think I'm mechanical enough to pull out the radio/CD-Changer and plug something in..... Thought about the FM modulator, and maybe the Harmon Kardon drive & play... any experience with those? Thanks very much.
BTW I love my Matrix. What a great car.

I have an FM transmitter in my '06 trix and I love it. Very easy to use, and comes in handy when you are travelling through an area with little or no radio reception, which I do quite frequently. In the city sometimes there is interference, but you just push a button and it searches for the best frequency to broadcast on, and voila.

Mine is a Belkin brand, and ran me about $100. Money well spent in my opinion.

Regards.

Not sure if there are aux ports on the back of the stock stereo, as my 05 matrix did not come with a stock head unit. but with previous cars i have owned i ran a RCA(you obviously dont need the yellow video cable) stereo Y-cable to a single headphone jack cable into the headphone jack of my ipod. that worked well for me. Then i just hid the excess cable where it would not be noticable. SUPER CHEAP!!! as cheap as it gets. Cost? i already had the cable but i'd imagine they could be no more than 20 bucks for an extra long one.

hope this helps
