04 Matrix stereo/cdplayer

Does anyone know the model # for the stereo/cd player in the matrix. I had one replaced with it ate my cd. Now 3 years later the cd player stop working again, out of warranty now. Any help would be appreciated.

my advice: get an aftermarket deck.

I've got an 04 factory deck in a box somewhere. If I can find it, you can have it for the cost of shipping it from Calgary. That said, an after market deck is the way to go.
